1. Request Account or App Data Deletion

Send an email from the address linked to your Tilawa account to tilawa.support@gmail.com with the subject: Tilawa Data Deletion Request.

You may request deletion of the entire account or only specific login-related data, such as Facebook Login data, where this can be separated from the account.

If the Tilawa app includes an in-app account deletion option, you may use either the in-app path or this web request path. Both paths are intended to start deletion of the account and associated user data, subject to the retention exceptions below.

2. Remove Tilawa from Facebook

You can also revoke Tilawa's access from your Facebook account:

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy.
  2. Choose Settings, then Apps and websites.
  3. Find Tilawa in the list of connected apps.
  4. Select Remove to revoke access.

Removing Tilawa from Facebook stops future Facebook access, but it may not automatically delete data already stored in Tilawa. To delete stored data, send the request described above.

3. Google Play Account Deletion Scope

When you request deletion of your Tilawa account, we treat the request as a request to delete the account and personal data associated with that account, unless you clearly ask for a narrower request. This includes account profile data, login identifiers, lesson records, chat data, booking data, and support history where deletion is permitted and technically available.

Deleting the app from your device does not automatically delete your Tilawa account. Use this page or the in-app deletion option, if available, to request account and data deletion.

4. Information to Include

  • Your full name as used in Tilawa.
  • The email address linked to your Tilawa account.
  • Whether you want to delete the whole account or only Facebook Login data.
  • Any relevant user ID, phone number, booking reference, or screenshot that helps us identify the account.

5. What Happens After We Receive Your Request

  • We review the request and may ask you to verify account ownership.
  • We delete or anonymize personal data associated with the account where deletion is permitted.
  • We confirm by email when the request is received and when processing is completed.
  • We aim to process requests within a reasonable period, subject to verification and legal requirements.

6. Data That May Be Retained

Some records may be retained for a limited period if required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or payment-processing reasons. Where possible, retained records will be minimized or separated from active account data.

7. Request Status

To follow up, reply to the same email thread or contact tilawa.support@gmail.com with the same subject line.
