1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, booking a lesson, sending a message, or otherwise using Tilawa, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and Login

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
  • You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Tilawa may support email login and third-party login providers such as Facebook.

3. Lessons, Teachers, and Learning Content

Tilawa helps students connect with teachers, schedule Quran learning sessions, communicate about lessons, and track progress. Lesson availability, teacher assignment, and session format may vary.

Teachers and students are expected to use Tilawa respectfully and only for educational purposes related to Quran learning, memorization, recitation, revision, and support.

4. Bookings, Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Some lessons or features may require payment. Prices, packages, cancellation windows, refund rules, and payment methods may be shown in the app or agreed at the time of booking. Where a third-party payment provider is used, its own terms may also apply.

We may refuse, cancel, or reschedule bookings where needed because of teacher availability, suspected misuse, payment issues, or operational requirements.

5. Google Play, Purchases, and Platform Rules

If Tilawa is installed from Google Play, your use of the Android app is also subject to Google Play's applicable terms and policies. Where Google Play Billing or another approved payment path applies, the purchase, cancellation, and refund flow may also be governed by Google Play or the payment provider.

Tilawa should not ask users to bypass Google Play requirements, misrepresent app functionality, or use data for purposes that conflict with the public Privacy Policy and Data safety disclosures.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use Tilawa for harassment, hate, abuse, threats, deception, spam, or illegal activity.
  • Do not upload or send content that violates the rights, privacy, or safety of others.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security, scrape the service, disrupt the app, or access accounts that are not yours.
  • Do not impersonate another person, teacher, student, organization, or representative of Tilawa.

7. User Content

You keep ownership of content you submit, such as messages, notes, files, or feedback. You grant Tilawa permission to use that content only as needed to provide, protect, support, improve, and operate the service.

8. Notifications and Communication

Tilawa may send service-related messages such as booking confirmations, lesson reminders, account notices, policy updates, and support responses. You can manage some notification preferences in your device or app settings.

9. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these terms, creates risk for other users or teachers, misuses payments or bookings, or harms the service. You may stop using Tilawa or request account deletion at any time through the Data Deletion page or through any in-app deletion option we provide.
